Nashville Needlework Market: Last Minute Suggestions

 Wow, the #NashvilleNeedleworkMarket is starting in just a few more days! I have a few suggestions for the stores attending, especially for the first-timers. Address labels (or business cards) with your business name, address, and phone number are handy when you are purchasing from an exhibitor as they don't have to write your info on their order pads. Many exhibitors will be happy to gather up your purchases and send you on your way to continue shopping, then total them for you to pay for and pick up later (Yarn Tree does this, too). 

Comfy shoes are a MUST. Dress professionally and you will be treated as the professional you are, but don 't be concerned if your shoes don't match.

Credit cards are accepted by most vendors, but some will only take cash. Some will also accept checks, but not all. Good to bring lots of cash. Also, be sure to notify your credit card company that your charges during the show will show from multiple states (they get kinda touchy about that sometimes!).

There are 141 exhibitors. If you do nothing but see each one during the hours that the show is open, you have 8 1/2 minutes per exhibitor! Doesn't count time to eat or rest. Plan well!! Take advantage of the Sandwich cart for lunch and the Buffet dinner each evening. See the email sent to you from Needlework Retailer for details.

Welcome to Finally a Farmgirl

We would like to welcome new designer,  Chrissy of Finally a Farmgirl. Lugana 28 Navy

  Lugana 28 in Navy recently rejoined the line of popular Zweigart Fabrics. Navy is very popular in other counts of Zweigart fabric as well. 28 count fabric is usually stitched two over two, which makes your finished design the same stitch count as Aida 14. This lovely shade of Navy is also available in Aida 16, Aida 14, Aida 18, Lugana 25, and Belfast Linen. Great for a patriotic background, a night sky, or for any pattern where you really want your stitches to "pop." Sold in one yard cuts, and Short Cuts may also be available. Cat's Paw Point Protectors

  When I saw little these Cat's Paws, I knew we had to have them! You'll want them, too. Cat's Paw Point Protectors in a pack of 6. So adorable! These fit larger scissors the best (too large for most embroidery scissors), or knitting needles. But truly so cute you'll want them for the end of your pen or pencil. Works by ABC

Eye-catching red sampler from new designer, Works by ABC, who exhibited for the first time at the 2022 #NashvilleNeedleworkMarket. Arlene loves to work with lace, so many of her patterns feature beautiful lace. She also enjoys old sampler patterns and created the 1544 Band Sampler from an ancient Venetian pattern book.
