Pocket Full of Stitches can be found deep in the heart of West Texas! The 4,800 sq. ft needlework store in Lubbock carries threads, fabrics, canvases, patterns and supplies.
Owner Megan Lewis actually started with PFOS by answering an ad in the university newspaper for part-time work her sophomore year of college.
“I worked here throughout college, both Bachelors and Masters degrees. My oldest daughter, Gracie, was about 3 months old when we found out the previous owners were ready to retire and they were going to close the store. After some discussion, I decided to buy the store. We “re-opened” under new ownership April 2010 and have been going ever since.”
“My favorite part of owning a needlepoint store is getting to do what I love daily. It is a happy place to be surrounded by canvases, threads, and people who love doing the same thing I do.” In the group shot, left to right, Katie, Joan, Meg, Devon, Megan (owner), Robin, & Julia.
