Happy LEON Day!

LEON Day marks the half-year point for Christmas. There's a lot of Christmas in July marketing promotions, but June 25th is the official mid-point. Why the name LEON Day for this holiday? Because LEON is NOEL, the French word for Christmas, spelled backwards. Only 182.5 stitching days left!

Better get started on the Holly Jolly Mandala! A kaleidoscopic jumble of Christmasy motifs form a delicate snowflake-like design. First and second in a series of eight cowboy boot designs. Blue Boot (left) has an artfully tooled leather look with scrolls and geometric shapes. The boot has a long John Wayne style toe.
