Lacework Lily
This tabletopper design can be stitched on any color of Anne Cloth fabric. The thread used should be a solid or slightly variegated color. Canvas Lacework was a Victorian technique used on perforated paper to give a distinctive look to the background of a design. Shown here on the larger fabric of Anne Cloth, it still gives an interesting filling effect in the borders and the middle squares. The chart includes lots of squares and border options, which can be mixed and matched, to use when stitching tabletoppers, runners and doilies. This set gives you lots of stitching options.
