This piece was shown in St. Charles as a sneak preview and took everyone’s breath away! Karen was inspired to create this amazing piece by the adaptation of "Trip Around the World" quilt block sent by her stitcher Kathy de Zwart. They used several specialty stitches along with regular cross stitches to compliment the letters used in the design and no two letters are alike. Included in the 34 page booklet are detailed instructions for each of the specialty stitches, charts for a small alphabet, a lovely needleroll, a small Welcome Around the World sampler and Christmas Around the World holiday ornament with greetings from several countries, plus loads of "BE Creative!" ideas.
