Large Sewing Box

This sewing box was created by Maison Sajou and contains two trays, one of which is removable. The lid is decorated with a large label "Boite a Couture" which means sewing box. The kit includes a nickel-plated thimble, scissors, dressmaker’s tape measure with a ring on each end, seam ripper, 15 sewing needles, 200 dressmakers’ pins, six thread cards, six cocoons of polyester thread, a black and a white Fil Au Chinois linen thread star cards, three cotton thread spools, Laine Saint-Pierre darning wool and four floral motif cards for ribbons or threads.
